Eldon serves as the Site Manager at Ravens Nest in Magnetawan, a key property within the Ravens Forest Nature Preserve. With a strong background in logging, road construction, and general site maintenance, Eldon brings invaluable expertise to the team.

Having extensive experience with sawmills in the Magnetawan area, Eldon plays a pivotal role as Ravens Forest embarks on milling its own timber for upcoming building projects. His hands-on knowledge and dedication ensure that Ravens Nest continues to thrive as a cornerstone of the preserve.

Chris

Assistant Site Manager, Ravens Nest, Magnetawan

Chris brings extensive experience as an equipment operator to the Ravens Nest team, playing a pivotal role in the development of new roads and trail systems across the property. Beyond construction, Chris is deeply involved in the maple syrup operations, an upcoming key feature of Ravens Nest.

Chris also oversees the operation of the on-site firewood processor, ensuring a steady supply of high-quality hardwood firewood to meet the needs of Raven’s Nest’ cabins.His dedication and versatile skill set contribute significantly to the growth and sustainability of Raven’s Nest.

Forestry Consultant

Duncan is a highly respected local expert in the Managed Forest Tax Incentive Program, specializing in evaluating and documenting the unique characteristics of each Ravens Forest property.

As the creator of Forestry Management Plans, Duncan works closely with forest owners to promote sustainable practices that ensure the long-term health and vitality of the forests. His work focuses on monitoring and enhancing the ecosystems, enabling trees, vegetation, and wildlife to thrive for generations to come.

Forestry Consultant

A graduate of the Master of Forestry program at the University of Toronto, Natalie is a passionate advocate for the health and sustainability of Canada’s forests. Working alongside Duncan in their family-owned business, Woodlot Management Co., Natalie brings both expertise and enthusiasm to the stewardship of forested lands.
